The OSU-OKC Library received a Carl Perkins Innovative Grant in order to provide access to a limited number of laptops and jetpacks for students.  These laptops and jetpacks can be borrowed for up to a semester and will support students as they complete homework assignments, study course material outside of classroom hours, access additional online resources, interact with classmates and instructors via Zoom, and more.

The Statement of Responsibility MUST be signed and initialed before borrowing any devices.  Please read it carefully and let us know if you have any questions.  It must be signed each semester that equipment/accessories are borrowed.

Students using the equipment provided by the OSU-OKC Library must abide by the Information Technology Appropriate Use Policy.

1. Laptops and jetpacks can only be borrowed by current OSU-OKC students.  Please present your student ID or proof of enrollment.  Students must sign a Technology 2 Go Statement of Responsibility.  Students will receive a print and digital copy of the signed document.  This document must be signed each semester.
2. Laptops and jetpacks have a loan period of up to a full semester and cannot be renewed.  If your status as a student changes at any time during the semester, please return the equipment and accessories immediately.
3. All equipment and accessories are due on the Monday following the last day of the semester.  If this creates a problem for you, please contact the OSU-OKC Library.
4. If equipment and accessories are not returned on or before the due date, a $10 per day late fee for laptops and a $5 per day late fee for jetpacks will be assessed.  Overdue fines will continue to accrue until the equipment is returned to the OSU-OKC Library.
5. On the eighth day past the due date, the student will be charged full replacement fees for the equipment and accessories.  This can affect the ability to enroll or get official transcripts or diplomas.
6. The student will lose borrowing privileges for at least one semester by keeping the equipment/accessories more than three (3) days beyond the due date or returning items damaged beyond repair.
7. All laptops will be wiped when returned.  Student will need to save work on an external drive not included with the laptop.
8. Jetpacks will be deactivated if not returned on or before the due date.
9. Jetpack service may temporarily be interrupted occasionally due to maintenance, emergencies, inclement weather, or other factors outside the library's control.
10. Student will be held responsible for any loss or damage of equipment.
11. If equipment is stolen, the student must notify the OSU-OKC Library immediately and file a report with the OSU-OKC Safety and Security Office.
12. Students shall abide by all OSU-OKC, state, and federal laws regarding appropriate use or OSU-OKC network and computing resources.
13. Equipment must be returned INSIDE the library.  These items cannot be returned in the outside book return as this can cause damage to the equipment.
14. It is the responsibility of the student to ensure all equipment and accessories are returned in the same condition they were loaned.  Students who lose equipment/accessories or return equipment/accessories in a damaged condition may lose their equipment borrowing privileges.
